How minimums work for powders
Our general project minimum is $2,500. Sachets and stick packs run on fully automated equipment, which usually carries a 10,000-unit minimum. If you only need 5,000 sachets, the cost is about the same as 10,000, so most clients take the larger run. Fully automated equipment generally starts to make sense around 30,000 units. Pouch, jar, and bottle fills can run on semi-automated equipment at smaller quantities. Pricing is per unit, with setup and cleanup built in, and every job is quoted individually.
Quality
We are FDA-registered and certified by the California Department of Public Health for food and organic food packaging, with a third-party cGMP audit from Eurofins, a written food safety plan, and a HACCP plan. Food bulk is tested on arrival, production samples go to a licensed food microbiology lab, equipment is sanitized between runs, and every run is lot-coded.
Powder filling questions
What is the minimum for a sachet or stick pack run?
Sachet and stick pack runs usually start at 10,000 units, because they run on fully automated equipment.
Can you blend my powder before filling?
Yes. We have a ribbon blender for powders.
Can you fill particulates or chunky mixes?
Yes. Our multi-lane weigh filler handles particulates and mixed-texture products.
Can you source the film, pouches, and jars?
Yes, and in most cases we prefer to. We work with preferred vendors whose materials run well on our equipment.
Can you make sample sachets for a launch or trade show?
Yes, within our minimums. Many brands use sachets as low-cost samples to let customers try a product.
