Many co-packers want to know you will be running hundreds of thousands of units before they will quote. Minimus Products is built for the opposite: small and medium runs for emerging brands, with a general project minimum of $2,500, in Newbury Park, California.
How our minimums work
- General minimum: $2,500 per project.
- Semi-automated filling (jars, bags, bottles) suits smaller quantities. As a rough example, $2,500 might cover about 2,500 units at around $1 each. Actual pricing varies by project.
- Fully automated equipment (such as sachets and stick packs) usually carries a 10,000-unit minimum, which can come to more than $2,500. Fully automated equipment generally starts to make sense around 30,000 units.
We charge per unit, with setup and cleanup built into the per-unit price. Every job is quoted individually.
Why start small
A smaller first run lets you test your product, packaging, and pricing with real customers before committing cash to a large inventory. When demand grows, we scale with you by adding equipment, shifts, and formats, so you do not have to switch co-packers.

Low-minimum co-packing questions
What is the smallest run you will do?
Our general minimum is $2,500 per project. What that buys depends on the equipment your product needs.
Why do sachets and stick packs have a higher minimum?
They run on fully automated equipment, which usually carries a 10,000-unit minimum because of setup and cleanup time.
Will I be stuck behind bigger customers?
We focus on small and medium runs, so your project gets real attention instead of being slotted behind much larger accounts. Every quote includes a clear timeline.
Can I visit the facility?
Yes. We welcome site visits, and clients can attend their first production run.
