Can You Pack That? Working With Unusual Products and Adding New Capabilities

Plenty of brands come to us with a product that does not fit neatly into a standard co-packing box: an unusual format, a tricky blend, a component nobody else wanted to handle, or an idea that simply does not exist in the market yet. Our answer is usually some version of “let’s figure out how.”

An entrepreneurial approach to the unusual

Over the years we have filled and packaged a wide range of products and formats: powders, liquids, pastes, particulates, and mixed formats into stand-up gusseted bags, sachets and stick packs, bottles, jars, sprayers, cans, shaker jars, and more. We have handled organic foods, supplements, beauty and personal-care items, cleaning products, and one-off projects that required custom solutions like uniquely shaped boxes or specialized fills.

Growing capabilities to fit the project

When a project needs equipment we do not currently have, we are happy to explore obtaining it, especially when we are partnering with a brand on something genuinely new. We have grown our capabilities alongside our customers’ needs and have even pursued certifications and licensing (such as FDA OTC licensing for a client project) when a project called for it. We are also glad to collaborate when a customer has unique equipment to bring into our facility.

If you have been told “no” elsewhere

If another co-packer has told you your product is too unusual, too small, or too complicated, it may simply be outside their comfort zone, not impossible. We would welcome the chance to look at it. Tell us about your project and we will let you know how we would approach it.
